Google Developers’ International Women’s Day event to be held in Kigali

As International Women’s Day 2024 approaches, Google, through the Google Developers Group, has decided to celebrate it grandly with IWD 2024 titled “Impact the Future.”

This event is a large annual campaign that focuses on women and their impact on Tech worldwide. Google Ambassadors host and invite speakers worldwide to speak about different careers and fields in Tech, including AI/ML, Android, Flutter, web3, and more. 

This yearly event lasts through March and April around the world.

This year’s event at Kigali, Rwanda, will mainly focus on the power and responsibility to impact the future of technology and society through AI as a significant tool. The event will envision the future, how women and individuals can use their skills, creativity, and passion to positively impact Tech, and how they can inspire the next generation of women in Tech.

This event will be held on the 9th of March 2024 at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, Regional ICT Center of Excellence Bldg Plot No A8, Kigali Special Economic Zone Phase II, Kigali, Rwanda.
