UNLEASH Hack Kigali is set to be one of the most impactful events of the year, addressing the challenges of building Climate Resilient Urban Areas in Kigali. Scheduled for November 2nd – 3rd, 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda, this Hack brings together bright minds from across the country to tackle pressing issues related to climate change and sustainability, while creating local and innovative solutions towards addressing them as well. Justice Oyakhilome Anthony – Team Lead

Justice Oyakhilome Anthony, a dynamic leader and innovator, is at the helm of UNLEASH Hack Kigali. Justice is Nigerian and serves as the Country Director of AIESEC in Rwanda and Growth and Operations Manager at Trashcoin Ltd, a company focused on waste management and recycling. His leadership is steering the program toward its ambitious goal of addressing climate resilience in Kigali, with a focus on sustainability and youth-driven innovation. As Team Lead, Justice ensures that all aspects of the event align with the broader vision of a greener and more sustainable Kigali.

Theoneste NDAYIZEYE – Facilitators, Experts, and Judges Sourcing

Theoneste NDAYIZEYE, a Rwandan Crop Scientist from the University of Rwanda, plays a pivotal role in sourcing Facilitators, Experts, and Judges for the Hack. With his extensive knowledge of environmental sustainability and his strong connections within the academic and professional community, Theoneste ensures that the Hack benefits from expert guidance. His efforts will help Talents gain valuable insights and mentorship from some of the best minds in the field, reinforcing the event’s mission to create innovative solutions for climate resilience.

David Kwizera – Communications Lead

Rwandan national David Kwizera plays a crucial role as the Communications Lead for UNLEASH Hack Kigali. Currently serving as the National Head of Marketing at AIESEC in Rwanda, David is responsible for spreading the message of the Hack, engaging Talents, and ensuring that the public stays informed about the event. His expertise in marketing and communication is vital in attracting young innovators and ensuring the success of the Hack’s outreach efforts.

Danielle Young – Brand Strategy Lead

Danielle Young, a Nigerian Engineer, and Brand Strategist serves as the Brand Strategy Lead at UNLEASH Hack Kigali. With her strong background in both engineering and branding, Danielle is shaping how the event is perceived by its audience. Her role ensures that the Hack is presented in a way that resonates with Kigali’s youth, sponsors, and partners, all while maintaining a strong commitment to the event’s core mission of climate action and sustainability.

Kantashya Cyizere Fida – Partnership & Logistics Manager

Rwandan Kantashya Cyizere Fida brings her expertise in Horticulture to her role as the Partnership & Logistics Lead for the Hack. Kantashya’s organizational skills are key to ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from securing partnerships to managing logistics. Her passion for sustainability and her deep understanding of the agricultural sector make her a valuable asset in connecting with stakeholders and ensuring the seamless execution of the event.

UNGANASE Theonestine – Talent Coordinator

As the Talent Coordinator, UNGANASE Theonestine is responsible for identifying and managing the Hack Talents. A Rwandan law student from the University of Rwanda, Theonestine is passionate about youth empowerment and plays a key role in ensuring that the event attracts the brightest young innovators from across Kigali. Her coordination skills are crucial in matching Talents with the right opportunities during the Hack.
